Some may find it easy to ask for help, while others may be really uncomfortable asking for help. If that is the case, you are not alone.
Asking for help is not a weakness. If someone asked your for help would you think they are weak – of course not.
There are some ways to ask for help that will make it easier and more helpful – for you the person helping you.
Be specific. Think about the 2 or 3 things that are creating the most stress for you that you can’t get to or you can’t keep up with. Write those things down.
Now think about the person who would be the easiest to ask for help. And ask them to do one of the tasks on your list.
They will appreciate knowing exactly what you need help with and you will get the relief of having one of those tasks completed.
This will make a big difference.
Lean into doing this because you deserve to have this help!
