The early days of being home with a new baby can be hard. Sleep deprivation, being on call 24/7 and trying to figure out this tiny person whose only way to communicate is by crying – that is pretty hard for most of us.

I don’t know about you but hearing our babies cry feeling really stressful for most parents.

We have been talking about asking for the help you need and what a big difference it can make. I want to take it one step further and give you a step-by-step guide to put this in place.

Head over to my website www.firsttimemom.ca and grab the free PDF: The #1 Survival Strategy Every New Mother Needs to Start Using Today.

The key is to map out a plan for an entire month. You ask your people once if they could come once a week at a set time, put it on a calendar and put the calendar on the fridge. This handy tool helps ground you during the hard moments to know that some breaks are planned and someone will be coming to help.

One mom I worked with called this her “sanity saver.” It has helped every woman who has used it and it can help you too.
